Four games
Four ways to lie to your friends.
All four are played out loud, and all four use the same phones the same way. Viree only hands out the secrets — what happens next is yours.
Mafia
Accusation and nerve
RulesA few players are secretly mafia. Each night they pick someone to eliminate; each day the whole table argues and votes someone out.
- Players
- 4–24 players
- Length
- 20–40 minutes
- Best for
- A big group that likes arguing
Imposter
One word at a time
RulesEveryone gets the same secret word except the imposter, who gets nothing. Go round giving one-word clues, then vote for who's bluffing.
- Players
- 3–24 players
- Length
- 5–10 minutes a round
- Best for
- Quick rounds, any number
Undercover
Almost the right word
RulesMost players share a word; the undercover players get a close relative of it, like Lighthouse and Windmill. Nobody knows which side they're on.
- Players
- 3–24 players
- Length
- 10–15 minutes a round
- Best for
- People who enjoy splitting hairs
Story
Making it up together
RulesEveryone sees the same opening line and setting, plus a speaking order, and builds the story together two or three sentences at a time.
- Players
- 3–24 players
- Length
- 10–20 minutes
- Best for
- A table that would rather build than fight
Every game deals from the same place and keeps the same promise: your card goes to your phone and nowhere else. The differences are only in what is written on it.
